Chelsea Begin Negotiations To Sign Worried Arsenal Forward
Chelsea have started negotiations to lure Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez in a £43million deal to the Stamford Bridge, according to reports.
The Blues and Paris Saint Germain are believed to be front-runners in the pursuit of the Chilean who has refused to sign a new deal with the Gunners, with suggestions that Arsenal are resigned to the idea of losing him in the next summer transfer window.
According to RMC Sport, the North London outfit are believed to holding out a fee around £43million, and will do business on Sanchez at the end of the season.
It is also understood that Sanchez’s agent has met with several clubs in recent weeks to thrash a deal for the 28-year-old who is keen on leaving the club in search of trophies.
Although, Arsenal are reluctant to lose their standout star to a league rival and will prefer to allow him leave to a club outside England.
Chelsea boss, Antonio Conte is also said to be an avid admirer of Alexis Sanchez and will tell him to wait for another year to force a free transfer next January, but PSG will hope to sign during the next summer.
